New Year’s Eve FAQ

Admission to the party includes a hosted but responsible bar. Hosted bar throughout the night will feature top shelf brands of liquor (including Ketel One, Don Julio, Brugal Rum), beer, wine and champagne. The hosted bar will be monitored for responsible drinking by bar staff and security to ensure a safe and fun evening. Doors open at 9:00 pm. Tickets also include a selection of tray passed hors d’oeuvres from 9:00pm-11:00pm provided by Americano Restaurant. There will also be a champagne and dessert bar in the Amalfi Room and sweets will be available until 1:00am.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TIER 1, TIER 2, ETC… TICKETS?

There is no difference.  As the event gets closer, the ticket tiers move up in price.  We’ve done this to encourage people to buy their tickets early and save a little money.

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE VENUE

This year’s event will take place at the Americano Bar and Restaurant inside the breathtaking Hotel Vitale. Italian for “vitality,” Hotel Vitale is surrounded by light and water in the midst of San Francisco’s bayside Embarcadero renaissance. This new landmark building overlooks the waterfront and is located across from the historic Ferry Building Marketplace at the corner of Mission Street and The Embarcadero in San Francisco. Americaono’s patio will be enclosed with a custom-built 3,000 square foot heated tent that will house the stage, main dance floor and a few bottle service locations. Don’t worry – the tent is clear, allowing guests to stay warm and cozy while taking in amazing panoramic views and breathtaking fireworks show at midnight.

WHAT DOES THE “VIP ALL ACCESS” TICKET INCLUDE?

The VIP ticket includes access to the private roof deck party with beautiful views of the bay and fireworks.

IS THERE A THEME TO THIS YEAR’S PARTY?

Yes. Fun. Well then what’s the deal with the “Catch Me If You Can” name of the party? Good question. It goes with great with the vibe of Americano Bar and we have some surprise decorations in store for the event. A classic 60′s theme is also a fun way to provide those guests who want to style themselves with a purpose or a costume, an excuse for doing so.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

We will never implement a dress code at any of our parties. That said, we do encourage people to dress up and dress the part for New Year’s Eve. It makes for a more memorable and unique evening for everyone.

WILL COAT CHECK BE AVAILABLE?

Absolutely.

WILL THE PRICE OF TICKETS GO UP OVER TIME?

Yes. We recommend you purchase your tickets as soon as you solidify your plans as ticket prices are tiered.

ARE THERE PRIVATE TABLES AND BOTTLE SERVICE AVAILABLE?

Yes, there will be a limited amount of 6 and 8 person tables available for bottle service. There is also a beautiful private room available for a group of twenty-five. The private room is still very much in the center of the party but it is the perfect room for a large group of friends looking for their own private space on New Year’s Eve. The private room includes lounge furniture and a private bar.

DO I NEED TO PURCHASE A GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET IN ORDER TO PURCHASE A TABLE OR THE PRIVATE ROOM?

Yes. Everyone must have a ticket to enter the party. Bottle service tables and the private room are sold separately from admission tickets.

WHAT DO I GET WHEN I PURCHASE A PRIVATE TABLE?

Purchasing a table will provide you and your friends with private bottle service and a place to call home-base throughout the night. The size of the table corresponds to number of guests that will be comfortable sitting at a table at one time. In order to purchase a table, you must have first purchased a general admission ticket.

WILL TICKETS BE AVAILABLE FOR PICK UP BEFORE THE NIGHT OF THE PARTY?

No, tickets will NOT be made available for pick-up before the event. We will be using Eventbrite’s electronic ticket scanning system for entrance to the party. You will need to bring a printed copy of your ticket (provided once you purchase your ticket) and an ID to prove your age or we cannot guarantee your admittance.

ANY ADVICE ON TRANSPORTATION?

Absolutely! We want our guests to have an epic – but safe – journey into 2014. Please, please do not drink and drive. And don’t get stuck outside at 2am fighting for a cab. Uber & Lyft are great options although they will most likely be in high demand the night of the event so make sure to plan accordingly or split the fare with your friends.
